Remove all your personal belongings from the vehicle, and empty the gas. Be sure that the level of gas in the vehicle is less than 25% of its capacity, as the gas in the tank increases the over all weight of the automobile. Check if there are any loose parts. Either remove these loose parts or fasten them tightly to the body. Make a note of the extra components like fog lights, spoilers, antennae, and spoilers. Check the battery for leaks. Make sure to bring the level of water in the radiator to the required level.
At times, you need to produce the documents of the vehicle, so keep all of them in a dossier. You should read the ‘terms and conditions’ section carefully before you sign up with an Auto Mover. Check the vehicle carefully for damages, and make a list of them, before signing the bill of landing. The bill of landing must be signed both by the driver of the Moving Vehicle, and you before loading. It should be signed again by both the parties after delivery.
